International team meeting at the pitching seminar in Tartu

Third capacity building seminar for student teams focused on presenting ideas, products and services. Girls from six Estonian and Latvian schools met in Tartu to learn how to do it in convincing and memorable way. The ABC of pitching was learned under the guidance of Harald Lepisk who is an instructor with 16 years of experience delivering public speaking & pitching training.

Students gained additional knowledge and skills in two workshops – how to give an interview to a journalist in the studio simulation where interviewer was Mirjam Mõttus from Estonian National Television and in parallel workshop about how to prepare pitch step by step leaded by Harald Lepisk.

In the third part of the day, team representatives presented their ideas, products and services within two minutes. After the team`s performance, the jury gave valuable feedback. Jury members Eda Tagamets from Estonian Ministry of Education and Research and Viljam Viljasoo from Business Advisory Services found that students  have done good work in international teams and found exciting solutions to various problems.
