The final project event: student companies of the first round met in Riga

On November 29, the final event of the GirlPower project took place – the Closing conference. This time the girls from Latvia and Estonia and their teachers met in Riga, in a beautiful panoramic hall on the 8th floor of the Wellton Riverside Spa hotel.

Together, the participants of the event went through the project activity in an interactive format, which also offered several exciting tasks for teamwork and the girls coped with them with excitement!

The story of Jelena Sterhova, an expert in non-formal entrepreneurial education and a member of the project team, was met with great interest by the students. Still would! After all, the speaker introduced her first business idea at school age.

And the final interviews of the project participants confirmed how relevant, important and motivating it was for them! Girls enthusiastically summed up the results of their participation in the project: they acquired new friends, both in their country and abroad, improved knowledge of the English language and deepened the understanding of business terminology, gained new knowledge and skills, got acquainted with interesting women entrepreneurs from Latvia and Estonia and studied their path in business. In addition, they had the opportunity to travel, see new cities and chat with each other in an unusual atmosphere.
