We are proud of our project and disseminate information about it

On Monday, November 21, more than 50 people – students, teachers, school directors, parents and representatives of institutions that deal with entrepreneurial education for young people – gathered at the ATTA conference center in Riga.

A dissemination conference was held here, during which the Latvian project GirlPower team told about it. The event started with a speech by Aiva Viksna, a well-known business lady in Latvia, founder of the association LĪDERE and Deputy of the Saeima. The speaker demonstrated her way in business, described the portrait of a woman-entrepreneur in Latvia, and also shared statistics on women’s entrepreneurship in our country and Europe.

The project, its achievements and results – that was the topic of the next presentation at the conference. All event participants were invited to join the interactive story about the project, they had the opportunity to excel in teamwork and surprise the audience with their interesting solutions to the proposed tasks. Then our special guest was Olga Pirags, a popular Latvian pop and jazz singer, who spoke about her social projects.

The central part of the conference was given to girls from three schools in Riga, the participants of the project, and their teachers. Beautiful words about the project and their convincing achievements, vivid emotions, interesting methods of presenting information – the girls were at their best and deservedly received a storm of applause from the audience.

At the end of the event, 3 speakers presented information about the synergy project with other existing business training programs.

Yes, the project is close to completion. But for girls, everything is just beginning!
