Prototyping seminars in Estonia

First capacity building seminars for student companies were about prototyping. International student teams met in Tartu in April and in Pärnu in the beginning of June to know more about this topic and develop further their ideas, products and services.

Meelis Brikker told to students about basics of prototyping. We discussed about designing products and services and what messages can be read from design and logos.  Teams had time to discuss what does their products and services speak of them, how it should look like and how it will work and last but not least why is their product or service important.

In group works and under the guidance of Meelis we learned how to prototype and how to use different ways for this – mindmaps, workflows, mock-ups and moodboards. The participants introduced their product and service to other teams as part of the team task and received good feedback from them on how to improve it.

Participants pointed out in their feedback that they had a lot of fun with other groups and with their teammates and they improved their products. They also mentioned that they learned a lot about how to design logos and how to write step by step plan about how their product or service functions.
